Analysis of PPR Running Backs For any fantasy enthusiasts new or unfamiliar with the format, PPR simply stands for Points Per Reception. In that type of league, running backs like Matt Forte become more valuable, while players who dont do much or are neglected in the passing game are naturally less productive than they are in standard leagues. Cedric Benson comes to mind, as he was a force in traditional leagues with 1,251 rushing yards last year - but left a bit to be desired for the PPR ....
