When I originally set out to write this article, it was going to be a flowery view of how great the Vikings offense – specifically the passing attack – looks now that Brett Favre is back a the helm. However, the news of Sidney Rice undergoing hip surgery throws a big kink into the outlook. Rice is likely to miss a minimum of eight weeks, and whispers coming out of the Vikings organization have him headed towards injured reserve. That said, with one of their weapons effectively gone, Favre's presence still helps a handful other players with regards to their projected stat column in 2010.

Percy Harvin, WR – Migraines, migraines, migraines. I know, I know. But, like it or not, Harvin is now the number one WR in this offense, and the top overall option in the passing game. He's a gamer, a beast and a playmaker, and when healthy he'll be a borderline must start as Favre's top target. Last year, the pair hooked up 60 times for 790 yards and six scores. If Harvin can manage his headaches, those numbers will grow by 25 percent with Favre at the helm and Rice out.

Greg Camarillo WR- A day after learning Sidney Rice would be out 8-10 weeks while rehabbing his surgically repaired hip, the Vikings traded for Miami Dolphins Wide Receiver, Greg Camarillo. The 6'1 receiver had 50 receptions and 552 yards in '09. He's more of a possession than deep play threat, so it will be interesting to see how the Vikings use him in their Offensive Scheme.

Bernard Berrian, WR – Berrian's value actually dipped last year with Favre as the starter, and his yardage and TD digits decreased. He'll never be a top PPR option, as he's caught less than 56 balls in all but one season, but he will definitely be an intriguing field-stretching, deep-threat, big play option in 2010. Look for Favre to develop a little better rapport with him in year two with the Vikings. With Rice out, Berrian looks like a solid sleeper WR4.

Javon Walker, WR – After signing the 31 year old, Favre will reunite with Walker for the first time since 2005 in Green Bay, when Walker tore his ACL in Week 1 against Detroit. Since then – with the exception of one solid year in Denver, Walker's career has gone down hill fast. He's only appeared in 19 games over the last three years, and has chronic knee issues. Favre made less than flattering comments about Walker's intention's to hold out prior to 2005, so it will be interesting to see if they develop any chemistry. First though, Walker has to beat out Greg Lewis on the depth chart. Neither Walker, nor Lewis should have any fantasy value this season.

Visanthe Shiancoe, TE – It's no secret, Favre loves tight ends, and Shiancoe is a big target with reliable hands. He hauled in 56 balls for 566 yards and 11 TDs. In TD-only leagues, he has 18 scores in the last two seasons, and a second straight double-digit TD season is not out of the question with Favre on board.

Adrian Peterson, RB – Why would anybody be down on this guy? Who cares if he fumbled during the NFC Championship game, he's in for a monster year 2010. Chester Taylor is gone, and Toby Gerhart doesn't figure to take third downs away from AP. So, look for Peterson to see many third downs, and catch upwards of 55 balls this season. AP will once again be a top tier cornerstone of a fantasy roster. Favre's presence just solidifies that nobody will be putting eight in the box to stop the run this year.
