Michael Silver (@MichaelSilver) is reporting that Cedric Benson will be suspended for three games. Benson will begin serving the suspension in Week 4. The suspension stems from off-the field violations of the NFL's personal conduct policy during the lockout.

The initial reaction is pretty easy here. If you're in a PPR league, you really want to go and pick up Bernard Scott. Brian Leonard will also so see some touches in place of Benson. But Scott is a dynamic back with excellent pass-catching skills. He could absolutely help owners out, especially in PPR leagues. If you have the roster space, I would try to pick up Scott. Leonard is probably not worth bothering with unless you are in a 20-team league, or something of that nature.

Here's the Bengals schedule for Benson's suspension:

Week 4 - vs BILLS
Week 5 - @ JAGUARS
Week 6 - vs COLTS

As a fantasy RB, it really doesn't get much better than that. If you need help at RB, I wouldn't hesitate to cut somebody I just picked up like Eric Decker or Denarius Moore. Cadillac Williams is another guy you can safely cut to pick up Scott.
