Washington @ Dallas
This game would probably be more interesting in terms of fantasy points if the Cowboys (1-1) didn’t resemble a MASH unit more than an NFL football team. Currently, Miles Austin is

expected to miss the games between this one and their Week 5 bye week, Dez Bryant is still nursing a strained quad, Felix Jones separated his shoulder, and Tony Romo only suffered a broken rib and a punctured lung; you know, minor stuff like that. Washington on the other hand are a surprising 2-0 and are playing with a ton of confidence behind Rex Grossman, which might be the first time in Grossman’s career that his team mates actually felt that way.
Grossman has been very solid fantasy-wise so far this year, and has been making effective use of Santana Moss and Jabar Gaffney, as well as tight end fantasy surprise, Fred Davis. Moss has been Grossman’s go to guy as expected, but Davis has been targeted 13 times, second only to Moss, and has gotten several looks on deep passes, as demonstrated by his ridiculous 17.4 yard per reception average. The running game has also been clicking, as Hightower has been highly effective without signs of his previous fumbling issues. Hold the phone though; Hightower didn’t play in the second half of their Week 2 game versus the Cardinals, and Roy Helu was able to rip off 74 yards on only 10 carries, which smelled faintly of RBBC Shanahan-igans (remember Tatum Bell, Mike Anderson, Reuben Droughns, Olandis Gary, etc, etc, etc?).
For the Cowboys, it looks like Jerry Jones would be wise to have his next investment be a medical facility, because the Cowboys just can’t stay healthy. If Romo can’t go, Jon Kitna will get the start; Miles Austin will likely be replaced by reality star Jesse Holley, and if Dez Bryant can’t go, Kevin Ogletree will get the start. Felix Jones might very well be able to play, but if he can’t it’ll be a mixture of Demarco Murray and Tashard Choice. Buy your programs at the game, Cowboys fans; you may need that cheat sheet to identify who’s actually playing.
Good Start: QB Rex Grossman, RB Tim Hightower, WR Santana Moss, TE Fred Davis, QB Tony Romo (if he plays) WR Dez Bryant (if he plays) TE Jason Witten.
Middle of the Road: WR Jabar Gaffney, RB Roy Helu, RB Felix Jones (if he plays), Demarco Murray (if Jones doesn’t play)
Bad Start: WR Anthony Armstrong, TE Chris Cooley, WR Jesse Holley, RB Tashard Choice.
