As week 4 is upon us some fantasy teams have been carried by the likes of Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski, Calvin Johnson, and Darren McFadden to a good start.  While Arian Foster and Chris Johnson owners are still waiting, after 3 weeks for their first round draft choice to gain 10 points on the entire year.  So what will this week hold? Will Arian Foster return, will Chris Johnson gain 100 yards, and how long will Michael Vick play before suffering another injury?

Will start with a guy some people took with the number 1 or 2 overall picks, depending on when your draft was held, Arian Foster.  He played one half so far this year and is expected to start this week against the Pittsburg Steelers, while is replacement Ben Tate has looked impressive filling in with over 300 rushing yards  through three weeks.  I can see Foster splitting carries with Tate this week and possibly longer.  If Foster struggles, and Tate is still running well, there could a switch of power in the Texans backfield.  Tate was drafted last year to be the starter but missed the entire year with an injury and Foster was slated to be the backup.  I would recommend sitting both these players this week, and see how it plays out, as they’re going against a tough Steelers defense as well.  I can see these two splitting carries throughout the rest of the year.  If you had to start one this week, Foster is slated to start but he hasn’t played a whole game this season and probably won’t be getting all the touches, both will get their touches, but if you have reliable options on the bench go with them over these two this week.

Is all that money Chris Johnson received stuffed away under his uniform and slowing him down?  I think in the next couple weeks we will start to see the Chris Johnson of old, He sat out training camp and the preseason so he wants in football shape when week 1 came.  He has three weeks under his belt now, and I expect him to have more endurance built up from the previous few weeks.  With Kenny Brit going down it does hurt that teams will stack eight or nine in the box but if Johnson can get space and free he can take it any distance.  I wouldn’t panic and try to trade him away unless you’ll be just getting to much proven value in return that it would help your team.  I would start him this week, against the Cleveland Browns, too much big play potential every time he touches the ball to sit him.

What about another first round pick, Michael Vick?  He was concussed in week 2, and initially broke his right hand in week 3, and was later downgraded to a bruised right hand on Monday.  He has thrown for five touchdown passes but none on the ground yet.  Philadelphia should have spent a little money on their offensive line in the offseason, or else Vick won’t make it through the season before something does break on him.  He is one of the most electric players in the league, and said he’s 100% going to play this week against the San Francisco 49ers.  Unless you have a quality backup like an Eli Manning going against Arizona or Ryan Fitzpatrick I would look into starting Vick, and just hope he can score you enough points before he gets knocked out of the game.

Some sleepers to start this week I look for AJ Green to bounce back against the Buffalo Bills.  I can see the Bills having a letdown after a huge come from behind win against New England last week.

Call me crazy but Jason Campbell plays the New England Patriots this week and they have given up a ridiculous 377 yards a game through the air per week.  Chad Henne looked like Dan Marino in week 1 against this defense.

If you need help at running back don’t be afraid to plug in James Starks, as it looks as if Ryan Grant will miss this week leaving all the carries in Starks hands.

Good luck to all this week in your Fantasy Endeavors.
