This game wasn’t nearly as close as the score indicated, as the Jets controlled this one from the moment Matt Moore (204 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INTs) had a first quarter pass returned 100 yards for a TD by Darrelle Revis.  Mark Sanchez (206 total yards, 2 TDs) didn’t have to do a lot of passing, but was efficient enough to get the job done.  Overall, this game was mostly a snoozer with not a lot of fantasy flash.

Well, Brandon Marshall (6-109) wasn’t the “monster” he promised, nor did he get kicked out of the game in the second quarter.  He did have a decent fantasy game, getting his second 100 yard receiving game of the year.  He could have had a bigger day though, as he dropped a fairly easy slant pass in the endzone which could have helped the Dolphins reverse some of the Jets’ momentum in the first half.  No other Dolphins receivers did much of note.

Sanchez only completed 14 passes, so predictably the yardage totals for the Jets receivers were fairly low.  Santonio Holmes (3-63, 1 TD) did catch a dagger of a 38 yard touchdown pass to crush any hopes the Dolphins had of getting back into this game.  Dustin Keller (2-51) had a fairly pedestrian day, as his catch totals have been in steady decline in the last couple of games.

Reggie Bush (10 car., 71 yards; 2 rec., 7 yards) actually had a fairly good day running the ball, but once again ended up getting nicked up and had to leave the game.  Daniel Thomas (15 car., 47 yards; 1 rec., 12 yards) also got quite a bit of play in the backfield, showing a lot of toughness in breaking a lot of tackles just to pick up a couple of yards against the stout Jets defense.

Shonn Greene (21 car., 74 yards; 1 rec., 3 yards) ended up with decent yardage, but about half of that came in the last half of the fourth quarter as they Jets were happy just to run the clock out.  Ladainian Tomlinson (7 car., 25 yards; 3 rec., 21 yards) showed up again after a couple of games of only getting a scant few touches.  This running attack is still not that impressive, but may get better as the weather turns colder and the running lanes start opening up more against fatigued defenses.
