I took a look at the schedules for each position from this week until Week 16. All green counted as an "Easy" Matchup and all Red counted as a "Hard" matchup. Then I simply sorted each team but biggest differential.**I wouldn't go OVERBOARD and make drastic roster overhauls based on this, but I sure would pay attention to help build your team for your Championship run.(I ran these by hand so there may a mistake here or there. My eyes got fuzzy at some point, but I am going to use this info to tweak my rosters. Add some depth. Move out some guys I am on the fence on.
Quarterbacks Stafford has the best of them all so he does not look like he will be slowing down, should finish top 5 at QB. Hold onto Cutler, his schedule looks awesome from here on in. Cassel has a solid schedule, good QB depth to have.Carson Palmer actually has a nice schedule the rest of the way, so I wouldn’t use him this week, but he could be a solid #2 ROTW. Romo will continue to produce.Tebow's schedule looks easy too.Even Eli’s schedule makes one think he will continue to be a top 10 QB. Rivers is another buy low guy that will see brighter days you would have to think.
I’d be avoiding Matt Moore obviously, Alex Smith, Colt McCoy, Dalton… all have rough schedules coming. Throw Bradford and Flacco into that group also, but those guys can still be used from time to time.
Running Backs Daniel Thomas looked OK last week but is on a bad team, so not really dying to rely on him. Same in DAL, no RBs to use. Denver has a great schedule, so McGahee should be ridden as long as he’s working and Moreno used in an emergency as he’s probably back to healthy with all that time warming the bench. He is still a very productive fantasy back when given touches, so he should be held on to for a rainy day. NE is blessed so BJGE should be ridden, and Ridley held for now. He’s 2 weeks away from being used according to my head (after PIT), so hold on.The Jets have a favorable schedule but I can’t trust anyone there. TEN looks good, so I would add Chris Johnson RIGHT NOW. Has to be the lowest value he will ever be, and even though he’s massively disappointed, he’s still the 25th best back in FF this year and he HAS to play better (plus he just had his bye).NO also looks good, I think we will see more of Mark Ingram in the 2nd half of the season so I would look to add him now. SD looks good so Mathews should continue.WAS looks good but I am avoiding them all.
Wide Receivers Greg Little is a guy I think can emerge. Colston should continue, Brandon Marshall may be OK in PPR, the Jets have disappointed so far but their schedule is still favorable going forward. Hard to like anyone in WAS, or SF, but PIT has some options and TEN maybe Nate Washington can continue to be a decent WR 3.
It’s probably time to punt on Mike Williams, as both of them now suck. His schedule doesn’t get better either, but not sure I can just drop him so only if something better comes along.Tough schedules for SEA and BAL mean avoid most guys there. In BUF, Stevie Johnson may have some bad games as he can still come up small sometimes. Andre Johnson isn’t due back any time soon it sounds like as Week 7 is out and maybe Week 8 also and he still hasn’t had his bye.
Tight Ends Good Schedules by for HOU, PHI, NYG, MIN and SD means you can target those TEs. Not much I'd target in DEN, KC or MIA.I wouldn't avoid Jimmy Graham because of his schedule, but he has to slow down at some point. He's on pace for 1600 yds!I would avoid some of those other guys unless I had no choice though.
