Generally in the middle of the season, many fantasy football owners are faced with a dilemma as to which additional quarterback to pick up when their main quarterback is on the bye week. Yet, sometimes they are also indecisive as to who to start if a quarterback has a poor performance a week before. This Sunday, here is a list of 5 quarterback that you should consider starting this Sunday in order for your team to do well:

1)      Baltimore Ravens Joe Flacco- Flacco had a surprising yet poor performance against the Jaguars on Monday night. It was perhaps one of the worst games of his career. His fantasy value was mediocre and that will change on Sunday. The reason is, he will be playing at home, and when he plays at home, Flacco plays well. He produces more touchdowns and his productivity doubles. I would expect to start him, as he is going up against a weak secondary.

2)      Carolina Panthers Cam Newton- Newton has been a great surprise for many fantasy football wonders this season. He has been able to throw the ball and run the ball.  As the Panthers are facing the Vikings this Sunday, Newton may have the chance to exploit the Vikings secondary and run the ball down their throats. He is a unique player that has rare talent, so starting him would be beneficial for fantasy football owners.

3)      Pittsburgh Steelers Ben Roethlisberger- Big Ben has been a sensational player over the past few weeks. He was able to throw a few touchdowns per game and he has managed to control the game. Despite a poor offensive line, he has managed to move around the pocket and connect with his receivers. Starting Big Ben against one of the worst NFL defensive teams. Big Ben has had a great career against the Patriots, and it will be key if he starts as your fantasy football quarterback.

4)      San Diego Chargers Philip Rivers- Rivers has been struggling in recent games in his productivity. Despite a 4-2 record, Rivers is still known to be one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL. This will change on Sunday, as the Chiefs have not been great in the defensive secondary. Rivers may have his players back, with Jackson, Floyd and Gates on the field. Yet, it will be up to Norv Turner to change the game plan on Sunday that may either harm or benefit Rivers. Yet, I would suggest starting Rivers if you want to win.

5)      Buffalo Bills Ryan Fitzpatrick- Fitzpatrick has the opportunity to have a great game on Sunday, as he is playing at home and going up against an injured secondary on Sunday. Fitzpatrick has been consistent this season and he can spread the ball to all of his receivers. With Fred Jackson being in the backfield, Fitzpatrick can toss him the ball and Jackson can churn up the yards. Starting Fitzpatrick will be beneficial for fantasy owners, as he could have a 300 yard game this Sunday.
