No byes this week means that fantasy football managers will have all their running backs to choose from, and there are plenty of RBs that the formula predicts will have above average weeks.
RUNNING BACK RATING =
(Average Rushing Yards Per Game + Average Receiving Yards Per Game + (Average TDs Per Game x 50) + (100 yd. games / games played x 50) + (Carries Previous Week x 2.5) + (Opponent's Average Rushing TDs Allowed Per Game x 20) + Opponent's Average Rush Yards Allowed Per Game) / 4

RUNNING BACK RATINGS: WEEK 10
(*=Check injury report)
PERFECT RATING (100)
Expect OUTSTANDING games from these three elite RBs.
Arian Foster
If a running back gets a rating over 100 using the formula, he’s still awarded a score of 100—that’s the top score. It’s worth noting though that this week, Foster’s score was rounded down to 100 from 107.
LeSean McCoy
Matt Forte
90-99: GET READY FOR A VERY GOOD GAME
Any of these six players has the potential to single-handedly get you a win this week.
Steven Jackson: 96.2
Fred Jackson: 96.1
Rex Ryan and the Jets shut him down completely. Now, we’ll see if Rex’s brother, Rob, can do the same.
Ryan Mathews*: 95.1
Frank Gore*: 91.8
Adrian Peterson: 91.4
Ray Rice: 90.4
80-89: SOLID RB1s
You can expect good (possibly great) performances from the following running backs.
Maurice Jones-Drew: 89
Michael Turner: 87.8
Willis McGahee: 85.8
Mike Tolbert: 84
Tolbert and Mathews should both have good games facing the Raiders 29th ranked rush defense.
60-79: COULD GO EITHER WAY
RB2s
Beanie Wells: 77.4
Ben Tate: 75.7
DeMarco Murray: 73.9
Chris Johnson: 71.5
Michael Bush: 68.7
Reggie Bush: 67.3
Marshawn Lynch: 66.1
He ran all over the Dallas Cowboys, but this week the Seahawks play the Ravens.
Daniel Thomas: 64.4
Jonathan Stewart: 64.1
Shonn Greene: 64
Darren Sproles: 62.2
LeGarrette Blount: 62.1
50-59: DON’T EXPECT MUCH
These RBs might be okay in the flex, but if one of them is in one of your RB spots, you probably aren’t in great shape at running back this week.
Rashard Mendenhall: 57.2
James Starks: 56
Jackie Battle: 55.6
Pierre Thomas*: 53.8
Brandon Jacobs: 51.2
Donald Brown: 50.3
Not Enough Data: Roy Helu, Chris Ogbonnaya, Maurice Morris
WEEK 9 RB RANKING REVIEW
Last week, the Running Back Rating Formula had six running backs receiving a perfect score; only two of them, Arian Foster and LeSean McCoy, really delivered. In fact, it ended up being the “Week of the Surprise Running Back Studs”, with Mike Tolbert, Reggie Bush, and Pierre Thomas all outperforming Matt Forte, Frank Gore, and Fred Jackson. Marshawn Lynch had the fourth most points for the week, with 135 rush yards and a touchdown. That's right, Marshawn Lynch! Tolbert and Bush were second and third in points! It seems like we all took a short trip to The Twilight Zone.
