QB CHAMPS Aaron Rodgers: 369 pass yds, 4 pass TDs, INT, 32 rush yds Drew Brees: 342 pass yds, 3 pass TDs Rodgers is on pace for: 5,125 yds, 49 TDs, Comp%: 70.6, 125.3 QB rating Brees is on pace for: 5,375 yds, 40 TDs, Comp%: 70.4 105.5 QB rating NFL Records: 5,084 yds (Dan Marino), 50 TDs (Tom Brady), Comp%: 70.6 (Brees), 121 QB rating

QB CHAMPS

Aaron Rodgers: 369 pass yds, 4 pass TDs, INT, 32 rush yds
Drew Brees: 342 pass yds, 3 pass TDs

Rodgers is on pace for: 5,125 yds, 49 TDs, Comp%: 70.6, 125.3 QB rating
Brees is on pace for: 5,375 yds, 40 TDs, Comp%: 70.4 105.5 QB rating
NFL Records: 5,084 yds (Dan Marino), 50 TDs (Tom Brady), Comp%: 70.6 (Brees), 121 QB rating (Peyton Manning)

Rodgers could break every single NFL record listed above.  Brees will most likely break the NFL single season passing yards record and also still has a chance to best his 2009 completion percentage record.  A-Rod is having the best season for a quarterback ever, while Drew “Cool Brees” is having what would otherwise surely be an MVP season.

Cam Newton: 204 pass yds, pass TD, 54 rush yds, 3 rush TDs
Speaking of records, with four games to go, Newton has already broken the record for most rushing TDs by a quarterback in a season (with 13).  I bet you didn’t think that was going to be the case at the start of the season (because most people don’t typically think too much about the single season record for rush TDs by quarterbacks).

QB CHUMPS

Joe Flacco: 158 pass yds, -1 rush yds
Flacco handing the ball off to Ray Rice (who ran for a billion yards against the Browns) and Ricky Williams (who ran for a million yards) might’ve been a great game plan for the Ravens, but it wasn’t good for your fantasy team.

Matt Ryan: 267 pass yds, pass TD, 2 INTs, 10 rush yds
Matt Ryan (mat rahy-uh’n), noun: a mediocre quarterback who has not performed up to expectations this season.

RB CHAMPS
Shonn Greene: 88 rush yds, 3 rush TDs, 26 rec yds
Rex Ryan was mad that Shonn Greene ran into the end zone at the end of the game instead of falling down at the goal line so that the Jets could take a knee and run out the clock.  Greene’s fantasy owners had no complaints.

Chris Johnson:  153 rush yds, 2 rush TDs, 4 rec yds
Sure, he wasn’t CJ2K this year, but at least he’ll be CJK.

Ray Rice: 204 rush yds, rush TD, 10 rec yds
Just a week ago, he averaged 2.8 yards per carry against the 49ers.  This week, he averaged 7.0 YPC.  If only he could face the Browns every week.

Honorable Mentions: Marshawn Lynch & LeSean McCoy

RB CHUMPS

Matt Forte: 12 rush yds
Forte’s injury doomed everyone with the Bears’ running back on their fantasy team.  It also doomed the Bears.  And, it hurt Forte’s chances for a big contract.  Yeah, it was pretty bad.

LeGarrette Blount: 19 rush yds
You could probably get 19 rush yards against a team that allows an average of 132.5 yards a game on the ground.

DeMarco Murray: 38 rush yds
Someone’s come back down to Earth (and it’s DeMarco Murray).

Dishonorable Mentions: Cedric Benson, Michael Turner, & Frank Gore

WR CHAMPS
Percy Harvin: 156 rec yds, 2 rec TDs, 19 rush yds
Weeks 1-10: ZERO touchdowns.  Weeks 11-13: Four touchdowns.  Harvin is getting hot just in time for the fantasy playoffs.

Pierre Garcon: 150 rec yds, 2 rec TDs
Garcon has nine games in which he scored under 10 fantasy points and three games where he scored over 20.  Way to be a pain, Garcon.

Demaryius Thomas: 144 rec yds, 2 rec TDs
Thomas scored more points this week than he did in every other game he’s played in this season combined.  Too bad he was probably on someone’s bench.

WR CHUMPS

Calvin Johnson: 69 rec yds
Sure, he was quadruple covered every play, but what happened to all the touchdowns!

Larry Fitzgerald: 55 rec yds
This Cardinal didn’t “take flight” against the Cowboys.  (Zing!  See what I did there?)

TE CHAMP

Rob Gronkowski: 64 rec yds, 2 rec TDs, 2 rush yds, rush TD
A quarterback (Newton) leads the league in rushing TDs and a tight end (Gronk) leads the league in receiving touchdowns.  What’s the world coming to?!

TE CHUMP

Jason Witten: 47 rec yds
Did several tight ends have worse games than Witten?  Yes, yes they did.  But we expect more from J-Wit, who’s supposed to be one of the league’s top tight ends.  Who would’ve thought that Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham would be better than Witten and Antonio Gates this season (besides that woman who raised Graham in her trailer with no heat)?
