During a locked out offseason in 2011, the NFL aired a show on the top 100 players of 2011. As advertised, the list for 2012 will be made here at football nation.
There are no rookies on this list and players that missed the majority of the year due to injury have been left off.
Here are players 100-81.
100- Percy Harvin WR Minnesota Vikings
A dual threat in both the run and pass game, Harvin has totaled over 3200 yards in three years with the Vikings including 87 catches this year and a career 6.9 YPC average.
99- Charles Johnson DE Carolina Panthers
With 102 tackles and 20.5 sacks over the past two seasons, Charles Johnson is starting to make people forget about the loss of Julius Peppers.
98- Kerry Rhodes FS Arizona Cardinals
Had he not missed nine games this season due to injury, he may have been a lot higher on the list. 90 tackles and four picks made people forget about the loss of Antrel Rolle.
97- Beanie Wells RB Arizona Cardinals
Back-to-back Cardinals on the list – RB Beanie Wells was ballin this year as he rushed for over 1000 yards and had 10 TD on a bummed knee. Wells played in 14 games.
96- James Laurinaitis LB St. Louis Rams
The leader of the Rams defense has had over 100 tackles in his three seasons as a pro and will likely be higher on the list this time next year.
95- Joe Haden CB Cleveland Browns
Cleveland’s pass defense has been better than expected over the past couple of years largely because of Joe Haden who has 129 tackles and six picks in two years.
94- Davin Joseph G Tampa Bay Buccaneers
One of the few bright spots on a struggling Buccaneers squad.
93- Matt Ryan QB Atlanta Falcons
Matty ice has led the Falcons to two playoff appearances in the past two years with quarter back ratings of 91.0 and 92.2 respectively.

90- Brent Grimes CB Atlanta Falcons

The old man’s still got game. 960 yards with Curtis Painter throwing him the ball.
87- John Abraham DE Atlanta Falcons
Add another 9.5 sacks and four forced fumbles to this man’s totals.
