New England Patriots: Tom Brady and company always pack a lethal punch on the offensive side of the ball. This season will prove no differently. New England finished with the second best offense in 2011 averaging 428.0 yards per game and just over 32 points per game.
With the addition of Brandon Lloyd and the return of the GRONK and Aaron Hernandez, Tom Brady once again has plenty of weapons around him to throw for over 5,000 yards. The Titans defense isn't a stellar unit by any means and the Pats could have a statistical field day in this contest.
Good starts: Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Aaron Hernandez, Rob Gronkowski
Middle of the road: Stevan Ridley, Brandon Lloyd
Bad starts: Danny Woodhead, Shane Vereen
Tennessee Titans: Questions are plentiful coming into the 2012 season for the Titan's offense. The biggest question mark has to start at the quarterback position, Jake Locker is going to be the starter under center after beating out Matt Hasselbeck this offseason. Another is what Chris Johnson will show up this season? This game will answer alot of those questions and clear up a lot of air in Tennessee.
Locker has athletic ability and a strong arm but is facing a defense that is supposed to be improved in the secondary after being one of the worst against the pass last season. Chris Johnson looks back to form and will come out with something to prove this season as he runs wild this Sunday against the Patriots.
Good starts: Chris Johnson, Jared Cook
Middle of the road: Kendall Wright, Nate Washington
Bad starts: Jake Locker, Damian Williams
