San Francisco 49ers: The Niners have a great defense and an immaculate rushing offense. The problem is they have lots of mouths to feed in the backfield. Early reports have come out that they will have more of a dread running back by committee situation in San Francisco. Alex Smith is not an elite fantasy quarterback but the Niners have brought in some weapons to help him get to the next level

With the additions of Randy Moss and Mario Manningham to go along with Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree, the Niners are looking to become a more balanced team. The match-up is nice for the Niners through the air as the Packers secondary was torched last season, giving up just under 300 yards a game passing. Expect big things from Vernon Davis.

Good starts: Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree

Middle of the road: Randy Moss, Mario Manningham, Frank Gore

Bad starts: Alex Smith, Kendall Hunter, Lamichael James

Green Bay Packers: Arguably the most explosive offense with arguably the greatest quarterback in the league have a lot to offer to all fantasy managers. Greg Jennings is coming into a contract year and is playing to show his worth to the rest of the league as this will probably be his last with Green Bay. Jordy Nelson has big play ability every time he touches the ball and Jermichael Finley is an athletic freak.

The match-up this week comes against a defensive force but in reality the Niners are great at stopping the run, which the Packers don't do, and suspect against the pass, which the Packers do almost flawlessly. Even facing this top notch defense, you don't shy away from the Packers offense.

Good starts:Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson

Middle of the road:James Jones, Randall Cobb, Jermichael Finley

Bad starts: Cedric Benson, Donald Driver, Alex Green
