Leinart Is Not A Happy Camper

Matt Leinart is not pleased by his benching in favor of Derek Anderson, according to the Cardinals' official website. Leinart said, "It is disappointing and a little bit frustrating. I can't sit up here and say I'm happy and all smiles. If it is an open competition, then let's have it that way from the start."

Fantasy Spin:

Leinart is yet to perform up to expectations as the No. 10 pick in the 2006 draft, and at least Anderson has one strong year under his belt, which came in 2007 when he racked up 3,787 yards and 29 touchdown passes with the Browns. While this is a volatile situation, Anderson does seem to be the better fantasy prospect as of now -- but that is certainly not saying much.
