Quarterback Sage Rosenfels has been claimed off waivers by the Vikings, according to FOX Sports.

Fantasy Spin:

Minnesota puts back depth at quarterback after parting ways with Donovan McNabb, and Rosenfels will not be going to one of the quarterback-needy teams - namely Houston and Chicago. And the veteran is not a threat to push rookie Christian Ponder from the starting job.
