Mathews will no longer have Mike Tolbert pushing him for playing time in San Diego's backfield, and we agree with the team's optimism after the former first-round draft pick (2010) averaged 102 rushing yards over his final five appearances of last season. He just needs to elude the injury bug, which he is yet to do so far in his NFL career. |
