Brandon Myers Replaces Martellus Bennett with Giants

March 17 10:46 AM

Former Raiders right end Brandon Myers will take Martellus Bennett's place as the Giants' starting tight end in 2013.

Fantasy Spin:
The two sides worked out a one-year agreement on Saturday. Myers quietly had a very productive season in 2012, collecting career-highs in both receiving yards (806 yards) and catches (79). Of course a lot of those numbers came in garbage time but we wouldn't expect too big of a dropoff considering New York's penchant for airing the ball out. Meanwhile, Bennett (55 receptions, 626 yards, five touchdowns in 2012) inked a deal with Chicago earlier in the week.
