Mark Sanchez Still Stinks in Preseason

August 18 10:27 AM

New York quarterback Mark Sanchez had a shaky performance in Saturday's preseason game against Jacksonville.

Fantasy Spin:
Sanchez played three quarters, which is rare to see in the exhibition season, completing 13-of-23 passes for 165 yards, a touchdown and one interception. He also ran the ball twice for five yards. A solid outing probably would have cemented Sanchez's place as the starter but after the game Rex Ryan seemed noncommittal about either Jets quarterback (Geno Smith missed Saturday's game with a sprained ankle). Sanchez will have another chance to distance himself from Smith next week against the Giants.
