January 31 06:05 PM According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, reporting on Twitter, Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney has a torn ligament in his right ankle. Schefter speculates that the injury could greatly hinder Freeney's effectiveness in next weekend's Super Bowl, "if he plays at all." Read more Fantasy Spin:
The loss of Freeney would be a crushing blow to the Colts' championship aspirations. In a matchup of elite offensive machines, Indy's ability to pressure New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees may end up being the difference in the game.
