Freeney has torn ligament in ankle

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, reporting on Twitter, Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney has a torn ligament in his right ankle. Schefter speculates that the injury could greatly hinder Freeney's effectiveness in next weekend's Super Bowl, "if he plays at all."
