February 02 04:08 PM According to the New York Daily News, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has decided to go ahead with the surgery on his left knee to strengthen a patella-stabilizing ligament. Sanchez sought second and third opinions before ultimately deciding in favor of the procedure, which should require about two months recovery-time. Sanchez has been dealing with a sore knee since dislocating a knee cap during a college practice a few years back. The procedure (scheduled to occur in the next two to three weeks) is expected to alleviate the discomfort he's felt since the initial injury, and should allow Sanchez to put the ailment behind him once and for all. |
