Tomlinson says he will not return to Chargers

Chargers running back LaDanian Tomlinson told the San Diego Union-Tribune Thursday that he's "accepted" that he will not be returning to the team next season. The former league-MVP said he did not know exactly when he might be released, but that he may instruct his agent to work to hasten the process.

This potential split feels like it has been in the works for some time now.
