Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson did not practice on Tuesday, but played catch on the side. Johnson told the Detroit Free Press that he is "definitely optimistic" about his possible return this Sunday against the Rams, though "not positive." Johnson, who missed their Week 6 game after injuring his right knee in Week 5, was able to let the injury heal during last week's bye. He added: "It feels a lot better since last week."
